Job summary

TFG is seeking experienced grant administration professionals to join our remote Grants Consultants network. Work remotely with flexibility to accept assignments based on expertise, interest, and availability.

Candidates should be adept at managing the full lifecycle of grants, ensuring compliance, financial stewardship, reporting, and stakeholder management across federal and other funding programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of grants administration or related field; 5+ for seniors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with grants management systems (Amplifund, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end grant administration from award to closeout.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and funding agencies on grant procedures.
• Develop and maintain grant calendars and compliance protocols.
• Coordinate with client departments to ensure compliance across lifecycles.
• Ensure grants comply with donor requirements and regulations.
• Maintain audit-ready records with strong data integrity.
• Review budgets, track expenditures, and manage cost share.
• Prepare donor and internal financial reports.
• Support grantees with reporting expectations and deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to streamline grant processes and train staff.
