Job summary

Case Western Reserve University–Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing is seeking graduate students in Statistics to assist with data analysis and research support for nurses in Hong Kong. Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in the Master of Science or PhD in Statistics program at Case Western Reserve University.
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and quantitative methods is required.
• Experience with SPSS is required.
• Experience with R and RStudio for statistical analysis is preferred but not required.
• Experience with qualitative analysis, particularly using NVivo15 software, is preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and data cleaning/management skills are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with nursing professionals.
• Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with nurses in Hong Kong on evidence-based or research-focused projects.
• Assist in cleaning and checking data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Help define variables of interest for research.
• Conduct quantitative analysis (descriptive statistics, t-tests, Mann-Whitney U, correlations, multiple regressions).
• Perform qualitative analysis as needed using NVivo15.
• Assist interpretation of project results and findings.
• Provide remote support and coordinate work around your schedule.
• Projects require 4–5 hours of work per assignment.
