Guidewell Education is seeking experienced Graduate School Admissions Consultants (1099 Independent Contractors) specializing in STEM and Life Sciences. Consultants provide expert guidance to applicants while maintaining flexibility over their own availability and client intake.

Consultants work remotely, set their own schedules, and handle project-based client packages and hourly consultations, with compensation via revenue share (45% of net client package price) or a flat $165/hour rate.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of the graduate school application process, particularly in STEM and/or life sciences fields.
• A PhD in any field is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional writing, structural editing, and proofreading skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage project deadlines, and communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with applicants, helping them navigate the admissions process and prepare materials.
• Conduct free introductory consultations to discuss goals and questions.
• Prepare for client sessions independently and ensure privacy and standards.
• Maintain basic service records for billing, compliance, and continuity.
