Job summary

JobCubby is seeking an Architect with GoLang, React, and PostgreSQL to design secure, scalable cloud-ready enterprise applications. This remote role requires 12+ years of experience and a track record guiding architecture decisions across teams.

The Senior Application/Technical Architect will define designs, review code for security and performance, mentor engineers, and collaborate with DevOps and security to build reusable Go services and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software architecture experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in GoLang, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing secure, cloud-ready microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end application architectures using GoLang, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Define high-level and low-level technical designs and architectural standards.
• Review GoLang and React code for security, performance, scalability, and design compliance.
• Establish secure coding practices covering authentication, authorization, input validation, session management, and error handling.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, and query patterns.
• Partner with DevOps and security teams on secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment frameworks.
• Conduct threat modeling and architectural risk assessments.
• Guide development teams in building reusable, scalable Go services and React components.
• Provide technical guidance during sprint planning, refinement, and implementation.
• Document architecture decisions, design patterns, and reference implementations.
• Mentor engineers on architecture, secure coding, performance, and modern engineering practices.
