Job summary

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. seeks a Global IT Audit Director to shape IT risk assessment, assurance strategy, and audit execution across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with the Global CAE and Regional CAEs to scale IT risk management and assurance, partnering with external providers to deliver high-quality audits. The role oversees the IT audit delivery model, ensures compliance with IIA standards, and translates technical findings into business impact while driving remediation across global

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in internal audit or risk management.
• 15+ years' experience in Internal Audit, risk management or professional services in a leadership capacity.
• Certifications: CIA, CISA, CISSP, CPA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT risk assessment program across key domains and identify inherent and residual risks.
• Oversee the IT audit delivery model, including vendor selection, quality oversight, and performance management.
• Develop and build out the internal IT assurance function for global platforms and entities.
• Align audit priorities with strategic business objectives through collaboration with technology, security, risk, and executives.
• Present audit plans, activities, and findings to senior management with risk-based recommendations.
• Ensure timely remediation and closure of action plans and oversee external partner work.
• Contribute to Global Audit policy development, frameworks, and continuous monitoring initiatives.
