Job summary

Column is hiring for a CB Compliance professional to implement onboarding frameworks for correspondent banking relationships worldwide. You will assess country risks, design rules and monitoring, and lead partner reviews.

The role combines compliance, risk management, and collaboration with GTM and product teams, with frequent travel and remote flexibility. You will build operational policies and drive end-to-end diligence on bank partners, while coordinating across multiple stakeholders to

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of regulatory, compliance or risk management experience with a focus on international financial activity.
• Ability to build and operational policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Strong familiarity with underwriting geographic and political risks.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create detailed, clear documentation for a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Ability to jump into new situations and quickly solve problems, with an eye towards architecting solutions that will scale.
• Hyper-organized approach to project management, including coordinating efforts across multiple teams; comfort juggling multiple projects and priorities is critical.
• Scrappy, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude - we thrive because we work harder, are more creative, and have zero ego when it comes to getting our hands dirty to build a business.
• Ability to travel frequently (monthly trips first six months, then five times a year; heavy international travel).

Responsibilities

• Execute a comprehensive onboarding framework for correspondent banks globally.
• Support ongoing monitoring with risk governance and escalation criteria.
• Support GTM business development conversations and educate prospective customers about Column’s risk and compliance partners.
• Support new product build out by coordinating product rollouts and providing guardrails and discovery guidance.
