CAI is seeking a GIS Software Developer Intern to support the development and maintenance of software applications, gaining hands-on experience on new features and debugging issues.

This fully remote, full-time internship runs June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027, requiring 40 hours per week. Candidates must be in the United States with work authorization and be available during core hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a CS/Software Dev degree or related field.
• Junior with GPA 3.5+.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with programming languages and SDLC concepts.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and write technical docs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs of low complexity
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
• Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
• Code and modify applications from layout to function
• Develop new features, enhance, support, and maintain existing applications
• Debug identified issues and provide solutions
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures and strategies
• Assist in the development of documentation
• Collaborate with others to determine design specifications and details

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, Geography/GIS, or a related field

Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher
