Job summary

Matrix Design Group LLC is seeking an Industrial Field Service Technician. This remote role is based in Georgia, with up to 75% travel to customer sites and coordinated scheduling.

You will install, startup, and commission products, troubleshoot on-site or by phone, and supervise third-party installers as needed. Ideal candidates have a technical/trade school certificate, some industrial maintenance or electrical experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion from a technical or trades school is required.
• Industrial maintenance/electrical experience preferred.
• Fork truck or telehandler maintenance or troubleshooting experience.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Safety-minded with safety as a priority.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on-site or by phone.
• Install, startup, and commission various products.
• Oversee and support third-party installers during customer projects.
• Test system functions and train customers in operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate service schedules with customers at multiple locations.
• Create detailed installation and technical support reports.
