Job summary

Insightsaxisadvisory is seeking a policy research professional to conduct in-depth analysis of North American political environments, legislation, regulatory regimes, and economic trends.

You will track client-relevant regulatory changes, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver analytical reports, briefings, memorandums, and client-ready decks. This role supports business development and requires strong independent work skills in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of relevant working experience.
• Background in civil service, public sector institutions, or related federal affairs roles.
• Experience in lobbying, government relations, policy advocacy, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on North American political environments, legislations, regulatory regimes and economic trajectories.
• Continuously track client-relevant legislative, regulatory and policy amendments and evaluate their strategic implications.
• Identify latent risks, market opportunities and stakeholder dynamics to inform advisory frameworks.
• Combine desk research with targeted outreach to government authorities and stakeholders for field investigations.
• Develop formal deliverables including analytical reports, policy briefings, memorandums and presentation decks.
• Support business development by drafting cooperation proposals and client-facing materials.
• Virtually participate in client consultations, industry roundtables and events, representing the firm as needed.
• Curate industry and policy intelligence to upgrade the internal knowledge base.
