Job summary

BillionToOne Inc. is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Illinois with expertise in prenatal genetic testing. The MSL will support UNITY™ Complete and operate remotely, traveling up to 70% to engage with healthcare providers and medical partners.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Genetic Counseling and ABGC/ABMG board certification, with 3–5 years of prenatal clinical or industry experience and strong communication skills to convey complex science to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling.
• Board certified ABGC or ABMG.
• 3–5 years of prenatal clinical and/or industry experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 70% across the country.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key liaison to healthcare providers (HCPs).
• Be a core member of the BillionToOne Medical Affairs team.
• Develop relationships through scientific exchange with medical and scientific partners.
• Support the commercial team by providing actionable clinical information.
• Respond to HCP inquiries with balanced clinical and scientific information.
• Educate regarding clinical differentiation of BillionToOne products and services.
• Contribute to development of provider and patient educational materials.
• Adhere to internal processes and regulatory requirements.
