Job summary

Cherry, a fast-growing fintech, seeks a General Manager to direct product within core verticals and launch Cherry into new ones. You will own the end-to-end experience across practices and patients, coordinating Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, Risk, and Finance to deliver cohesive solutions.

You will deeply understand customers, identify friction, and drive strategy to capture market share with a focus on profitability modeling and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to wear multiple hats across business functions in a startup.
• Experience finding product-market fit in early-stage environments.
• Demonstrates deep empathy by living the users' problems and needs.
• Can build basic financial and profitability models using spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Research and understand practices' experiences within Cherry.
• Identify friction points across product and operations to improve offering.
• Analyze competitive landscape to maintain best-in-class status.
• Define strategies to reach majority market share in target verticals.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Risk, and Finance on initiatives.
• Own metrics like lifetime value, transaction volume, market share, and NPS.
• Ensure communications tell a coherent story across channels.
• Gather user feedback to shape a prioritized product roadmap.
• Collaborate with Sales and Product to create compelling collateral.
