Distinct | North America is seeking a General Liability Attorney to defend insurance carrier obligations from a fully remote or hybrid base in Los Angeles. Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $275,000 and up, with discretionary bonuses and student loan assistance.

The role supports complex coverage questions and evolving liability issues across a busy calendar of settlements and trials. Three years in general liability or civil defense, plus a California Bar admission and a strong writing

Qualifications

• California Bar in good standing.
• Three years of defending general liability or civil cases.
• Writing sample required early in the process.

Responsibilities

• Defend general liability claims for insurance carriers.
• Handle premises, bodily injury, and property damage cases.
• Depose witnesses and manage incident reports; review CCTV footage.
