Job summary

HMG AMERICA LLC is seeking a GCP Platform Engineer/Architect to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, BigQuery management, and CI/CD pipelines via GitLab, with a focus on secure networking and automation.

The ideal candidate has hands-on GCP experience in the last four years, strong Terraform/IaC skills, and deep knowledge of cloud networking, security, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in the last 4 years.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills.
• Experience with Google BigQuery and data infrastructure.
• Proficiency in GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid cloud networking knowledge: VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, routing.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure GCP infrastructure.
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Configure and manage BigQuery environments and access controls.
• Design GCP networking including VPCs and firewall rules.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Implement cloud security, IAM, monitoring, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and performance issues; collaborate with teams.
