Job summary

INFOTRON seeks a GCP AI / Cloud Engineer to build and deploy cloud-based solutions on GCP, using Terraform IaC and Vertex AI. The role involves developing AI/ML applications, RAG integration, and working with LLMs while ensuring security and compliance in a remote US setting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of related experience, hands-on GCP skills, and holds an active U.S. Secret Clearance with certification readiness for Security+. This is a remote position in the United States.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of cloud engineering, DevOps, AI/ML experience.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Vertex AI.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform and IaC practices.
• Work with GCP-native services to build scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Develop and support AI/ML and Generative AI applications using Vertex AI.
• Build and integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Work with LLMs and contribute to LLM-powered applications and services.
• Assist with cloud architecture, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Follow security, compliance, and operational requirements for classified environments.
