Job summary

Central Garden & Pet is seeking a full-time Merchandiser in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves stocking and arranging product displays, including grass seed, chemicals, and clay pottery, in Lowe’s, Home Depot, and WalMart stores.

Ideal candidates will have merchandising experience, strong communication and reading skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Daily travel within the territory and access to a personal vehicle are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact with store management and consumers.
• Strong reading skills to understand packaging labels and re-tagging projects.

Responsibilities

• Down stocking and maintaining set integrity for Central Garden grass seed, chemicals, bird feed, fertilizer and clay pottery.
• Set and maintain shelves according to retailer planograms/modulars.
• Install and maintain off-shelf display opportunities for Central Garden products.
• Weekend consumer interaction during peak season (training provided).
