Qualifications

• Proven experience covering news and guides in the gaming space with links to previous work.
• Ability to produce copy to a high standard of English.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Trello, Slack, and other common industry tools.
• Eye for attention-grabbing featured images.
• Curiosity about how players approach games and a drive to provide quality content.

Responsibilities

• Write 4-5 articles per day with a heavy focus on guides and informational content.
• Pitch articles based on trends and personal gameplay discovery.
• Cover a game from start to finish with wiki-style topics to help players.
• Monitor news cycles and pitch breaking news or short-form features with a unique angle.
• Write articles based on pitches from editorial staff.
• Ensure factual accuracy in reporting and be communicative with staff.
