Gramian Consultancy seeks an experienced Gaming and Gambling Regulatory Attorney to contribute to a project focused on improving AI regulatory capabilities. The role emphasizes licensing, cross-jurisdictional compliance, and evaluating AI-generated legal content for accuracy.

As a contractor, you will analyze statutes, review agreements, and provide clear written explanations of complex regulatory issues. This position is remote within the United States and requires strong independent research

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent legal qualification is required.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Substantial experience in gaming, gambling, betting, or related regulatory law.
• Excellent written communication and analytical reasoning.
• Ability to work independently and deliver assessments on deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and summarize gaming and gambling statutes, regulations, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Analyze legal principles, regulatory procedures, and case law relevant to gaming, gambling, betting industries.
• Prepare clear, structured explanations of complex legal issues and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate hypothetical legal queries and simulated cases involving online and land-based gaming operations.
• Review agreements, policies, and legal documents for regulatory compliance and alignment with industry best practices.
• Assess and refine AI-generated legal content to ensure legal accuracy, sound reasoning, and practical applicability.
• Identify emerging regulatory developments, industry trends, and potential legal risks in the gaming and gambling sector.
• Provide detailed written feedback and expert commentary to improve AI-generated legal analysis.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent qualification.
• Valid license or authorization to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Substantive professional experience in gaming, gambling, betting, or related regulatory law.
• Strong understanding of gaming regulatory frameworks, licensing requirements, and compliance obligations.
• Experience researching and interpreting complex legal and regulatory materials.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and accurately.
• Strong analytical reasoning, attention to detail, and independent research capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality written assessments within project deadlines.
