Job summary

Chacruna is offering a remote Development Outreach Internship focused on supporting fundraising goals and development tasks. Interns will assist the Development and Operations Officer with research, outreach, and organizational tasks aimed at building relationships and enhancing Chacruna's objectives in the psychedelic community.

This unpaid internship provides mentorship opportunities, vacation time, and a certificate of completion. Candidates should have a passion for the mission and at least a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in project management.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 3 years of experience in relevant roles.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in school or similar educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising strategies with the Development and Operations Officer.
• Update internal systems for accuracy.
• Conduct outreach to build long-term relationships with partners.
• Research potential partnerships in the field.

Skills

Excitement for the mission, vision and values of the organization

General understanding of the contemporary psychedelic landscape

Proven experience in fostering and maintaining professional relationships

Excellent organizational skills

Strong communication skills

Competency in Slack, Google Drive, Google Forms, Excel, YouTube

Education

High school diploma or GED

3 years of experience in communications and project management
