Job summary

LTS is seeking a detail-oriented Functional Business Analyst to support a major AI modernization initiative within the VA healthcare portfolio. This role focuses on extracting requirements from existing VistA/MUMPS Prosthetics functionality, not solely from interviews, and ensuring AI outputs are accurate.

You will work with government stakeholders, product owners, architects, and operations teams to translate current-state behavior into actionable requirements.

Qualifications

• Extract and translate current-state system functionality into requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, epics, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with VA VistA/Prosthetics module is a plus.
• Experience supporting large-scale federal healthcare modernization programs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reverse-engineer requirements from the VistA/MUMPS Prosthetics module.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workflow analyses, and gap assessments.
• Translate business needs into BRDs, functional specs, and process diagrams.
• Support Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement and UAT.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and product owners to align business needs with technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and meeting minutes.
• Ensure alignment with VA policies and federal compliance standards.
