VivSoft is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to design, build, enhance, and sustain modern enterprise web applications within a mission-driven environment. This hands-on role supports an established production application and works with an Agile sprint team to deliver sprint stories from design through testing and release.

Formación

• U.S. citizenship required.
• 3–6 years of professional experience developing enterprise web applications.
• Experience with Angular, React, or Vue front-end frameworks.
• Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS skills.
• Experience with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and code reviews.
• Experience with automated unit tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and OWASP guidance.
• Ability to obtain favorable suitability for Public Trust.
• Ability to work 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Eastern with occasional after-hours.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test, enhance, and maintain front-end and Node.js backend services.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and tasks with stakeholders.
• Develop, integrate, and support RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Write secure, maintainable, well-documented code per standards and OWASP.
• Remediate vulnerabilities surfaced via CI/CD pipelines.
• Write and maintain automated unit/integration tests; support QA.
• Troubleshoot defects, incidents, and performance issues.
• Participate in peer code reviews and promote builds through environments.
• Ensure accessibility per Section 508 requirements.
• Engage in standups, planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Maintain work item status, estimates, and documentation.
• Create technical docs and implementation guides.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity.
• Support demos and user acceptance testing.
