SAS is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to contribute to developer.sas.com, building agent-ready APIs and a scalable developer portal. You will work in a modern React/Next.js codebase, collaborating with designers, API teams and product managers to deliver features that meet SAS standards.

Remote in EST or Hybrid work arrangements are supported, with a focus on fast, accessible and reliable experiences for developers worldwide.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development/programming experience.
• 3–5 years of experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building server-rendered applications with Next.js or a similar React framework, including server-side API routes.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) through an ORM (Prisma), and implementing authentication/authorization in web applications (OAuth 2.0/RBAC).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), including build, test (Jest/Playwright), and deployment automation.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and test high-quality, scalable features for developer.sas.com using React, TypeScript and Next.js, following R&D best practices and processes.
• Build agent-ready capabilities – such as Markdown for agents, API catalog and discovery endpoints, and machine-readable metadata – so AI agents can find and use SAS APIs reliably.
• Partner with designers, content owners, product managers and API teams to make sure features meet requirements and align with SAS standards.
• Own your code across its full life cycle, including unit, end-to-end and accessibility testing, production support, and improving the portal's reliability, performance and observability on Azure.
• Write clear design and technical documentation for internal and external audiences.
• Be encouraged to participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS.
