Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Full-Stack QA Engineer to own and improve product quality in a fully remote role. The candidate will test features across the development and release lifecycle, develop automated tests (E2E with TypeScript/JavaScript using Playwright, API tests with Python), and collaborate across product and engineering teams.

You will review requirements, document defects with steps and evidence, and drive test coverage while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and reliability in

Qualifications

Experience in testing web applications and APIs.
Ability to develop and maintain automated tests for E2E and integration scenarios.
Strong ownership of product quality across the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Perform functional, integration, API, regression, and exploratory testing.
Review requirements and acceptance criteria to identify quality risks.
Document defects with reproduction steps and evidence.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for features and regression.
Investigate failed or unstable automated tests and improve test-suite reliability.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA Lead to resolve issues.
Participate in release validation and communicate quality risks before deployment.
Use approved AI tools to improve testing productivity.
