Job summary

GDIT is transforming technology for mission-critical government projects. As a Software Developer, you’ll shape software for the NCIS ITD and contribute to full stack development across the stack using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and SQL Server.

You’ll collaborate with DBAs, System Admins, and analysts, maintain legacy apps, and drive performance improvements while staying current with new technologies. This role requires a TS/SCI potential and US Citizenship.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI potential after hiring.
• 7+ years of Full Stack web development using C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, HTML5/CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Ability to design overall layout and site architecture of web applications.
• Strong relational DB/ORM knowledge.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of software.
• Supports stakeholder and product owner meetings to help define and validate software requirements.
• Collaborates with DBAs, System Admins, Test Engineers and Business Analysts to design solutions.
• Develop design artifacts and improve application performance and availability.
• Maintain and enhance existing and new web applications and database schemas.
