Job summary

Automox is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer to own features across the stack, from Vue interfaces to Laravel, Spring Boot services and AWS Lambda. You will work with PMs, UX, and QA, shipping iteratively and shaping the data models and APIs.

You’ll review code, tackle performance improvements, and participate in on-call rotations while contributing to a shared component library. Remote role with US-based teams.

Qualifications

• Three or more years building and shipping enterprise web apps.
• Proficiency in TypeScript with a modern component framework; Vue preferred.
• Server-side dev experience in an OO language; Java with Spring Boot and Node.js/TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and SQL.
• Experience writing automated tests for the code you ship.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship customer-facing features across the full stack (Vue frontend, Laravel and Spring Boot backends, TypeScript AWS Lambda).
• Design and document API endpoints, including pagination and filtering for large environments.
• Instrument deployments with logging and metrics and react to data post-release.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate roadmaps into technical plans and increments.
• Write unit and end-to-end tests and participate in code reviews.
• Improve existing code for performance and maintainability; take part in on-call rotations.
• Contribute to the shared component library.
