Remote Jobs is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to contribute across frontend and backend systems, including security safeguards, GraphQL interfaces, and a customer-facing portal. The role mixes cloud work with API/interface design and bug fixes in a distributed team.

You will work remotely with IST-friendly hours, collaborating with onshore and offshore teammates across time zones, and participate in code reviews while following best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of professional software development across front-end and back-end.
• Proficiency with at least one modern front-end framework and one back-end language/framework.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Strong fundamentals: data structures, APIs, testing, and version control.
• Ability to work independently on features while collaborating with a distributed team.
• Comfort with AI-assisted coding tools in daily development.
• Strong written and spoken English for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features across front-end and back-end systems.
• Develop and maintain front-end functionality for internal tools and customer-facing portal.
• Build and support GraphQL interfaces and other API layers.
• Troubleshoot defects across the stack with team support.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
