Job summary

Automox is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and ship customer-facing features across the full stack.

You will design APIs, implement Vue interfaces, and develop backend services in Laravel/Spring Boot/TypeScript on AWS Lambda, while ensuring scalable data models in PostgreSQL/DynamoDB. You’ll work with product and UX to drive the roadmap and deliver incremental value to customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and shipping enterprise web apps.
• Proficiency in TypeScript with Vue; backend Java Spring Boot is a plus.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and SQL performance.
• Experience writing automated tests and maintaining code quality.
• Strong written communication in a distributed company.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship customer-facing features across the full stack (Vue frontend, Laravel/Spring Boot/TypeScript backends, AWS Lambda).
• Design and document API endpoints with pagination, filtering, and robust error handling.
• Instrument features with logging/metrics and monitor post-release performance.
• Collaborate with product/design to translate roadmap into technical plans and increments.
• Write unit and end-to-end tests; participate in code reviews and on-call rotation.
