Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-native applications. This role focuses on Python, React, and GCP to power enterprise AI-powered solutions.

The position is a 100% remote contract with US East Coast business hours in mind; you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure production reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
• Experience with Flask and/or Django.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application architecture.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting production applications.
• Familiarity with Generative AI applications and AI-powered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated cloud deployments.
• Support Claude-powered Generative AI applications and enterprise AI initiatives.
• Integrate applications with GCP Vertex AI services.
• Monitor production environments and troubleshoot application issues.
• Provide operational and end-user support (approximately 10–20% of responsibilities).
• Partner with engineering, QA, product, and research teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
