Job summary

WebCreek is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Full Stack Software Developer for a fully remote position open to candidates based in Latin America. You will work across the stack to build and maintain web applications, implement RESTful APIs, and ensure clean, testable code.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, proficiency in a modern frontend framework and a backend language, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework and one backend language or framework.
• Fluent English communication in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications across the frontend and backend.
• Translate product and technical requirements into functional, reliable software.
• Take ownership of well-defined development tasks and smaller application features.
• Build clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Refactor and modernize existing code to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues using debugging, scripting, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to understand user needs and business objectives.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to generate boilerplate code, write tests, troubleshoot errors, and streamline repetitive tasks.
