Job summary

BigBear.ai is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support the ORION Decision Support Platform, the DoD's enterprise system for global force-readiness insight. This hands-on role involves evaluating, implementing, and overseeing development and deployment activities; the ideal candidate will have Angular, .NET, SQL Server, and GitLab CI/CD experience.

The position is remote with occasional CONUS travel, requiring SECRET clearance and a BS/BE in a related field, with 5+ years of full-stack

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
• 5+ years of professional software development with full-stack responsibility.
• Hands-on expertise in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and component-driven architectures.
• C#/.NET 8, Web API, and Entity Framework for data access.
• SQL Server design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Git/GitLab, branching strategies, and merge-request workflows.
• Docker fundamentals and basic Kubernetes familiarity.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD concepts.

Responsibilities

• Feature development and maintenance for the ORION platform.
• API and data-layer integration with REST endpoints and SQL Server.
• DevSecOps and CI/CD: GitLab CI, Docker containers, Kubernetes Helm.
• Code quality: peer reviews, pair programming, and clean-code practices.
• Troubleshooting and performance tuning of front-end, back-end, and database queries.
