Job summary

Experis is seeking a Full Stack AWS Engineer to join the AWS Application Framework team and help build a new commercial lines quoting platform. You will develop user-facing apps with React and TypeScript, implement GraphQL APIs via AppSync, and craft serverless backend services on AWS.

You will design scalable cloud infrastructure, collaborate with product owners and engineers, follow CI/CD practices, and work in a remote, EST-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building production-grade web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience developing and consuming GraphQL APIs, specifically using AWS AppSync.
• Expertise in building serverless applications using AWS Lambda, along with a solid understanding of AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency designing and implementing data solutions using DynamoDB and managing infrastructure through Terraform.
• Experience working within GitLab-based source control and CI/CD pipelines, with the ability to troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, user-facing applications using React, TypeScript, and established design systems/component libraries.
• Build and integrate GraphQL APIs through AWS AppSync to support frontend functionality and business workflows.
• Develop and maintain serverless backend services using AWS Lambda and other AWS-native technologies.
• Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure and application services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
