Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an FSP Associate Manager for Safety Data and Systems in a remote US-based role. You will design AI/ML/NLP components to support pharmacovigilance operations, including auto-coding, NLP narratives, and case triage, with human-in-the-loop controls and regulatory alignment.

You will lead model lifecycle management and ensure safety data management adheres to GxP and related guidelines, working with IT, QA, and pharmacovigilance teams across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and ML/NLP frameworks; experience with LLMs is a plus.
• Experience with Argus Safety or ArisG safety databases.
• Strong English communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate AI/ML/NLP components for safety ops with human-in-the-loop checks.
• Support model lifecycle management including versioning, monitoring and retraining.
• Configure and administer Oracle Argus Safety system; assist in validation and deployment.
• Generate safety reports and analytics; collaborate with PV, regulatory and QA teams.
