Job summary

Givebutter, the nonprofit fundraising and CRM platform, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a full‑stack team and drive world‑class fundraising features. You will ship code, review PRs, and shape architecture while remaining hands‑on and mentor a growing group of engineers.

You will report to the VP of Engineering and help build a scalable engineering culture focused on security, performance, and delightful user experiences across our nonprofit users.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend development experience with React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, and PHP/Laravel.
• At least 2+ years leading a team of 5+ engineers.
• Hands-on experience designing scalable, customer-facing software.
• Proven in people management, mentorship, and clear communication.
• Experience hiring and developing remote engineering teams.
• Experience in a product-led growth environment is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the VP of Engineering to develop frontend strategy.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of full stack engineers, delivering user experiences.
• Own the frontend function and set technical direction.
• Evolve Givebutter software architecture for growth.
• Improve internal engineering workflows and best practices.
• Champion code quality and maintainability.
• Build beautiful, accessible web applications.
• Evaluate AI/ML tools to drive product innovation.
