Job summary

Motu Novu LLC is seeking a Front-End Developer to build modern, responsive interfaces with React for applications backed by PHP and Symfony. This independent contractor role offers a flexible schedule of 15-25 hours per week and remote work from the United States.

The position requires strong React fundamentals, TypeScript, and an eagerness to learn Symfony. You will collaborate with senior developers, review code, and contribute to API integration and front-end debugging tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of front-end development experience.
• Strong React fundamentals and hooks usage.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with responsive design and CSS-in-JS (Emotion).
• Know-how of RESTful APIs and Axios for integration.
• Familiarity with Git and a modern development workflow (Vite).
• Willingness to learn Symfony framework components.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React-based user interfaces.
• Collaborate with senior developers on full-stack features.
• Write clean, maintainable code following team standards.
• Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback.
• Assist with API integration and basic back-end tasks.
• Debug and fix front-end issues.
