Job summary

Blue Acorn iCi seeks an EDS Front End Architect to lead high-performance front-end architectures built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Edge Delivery Services (EDS). This role drives scalable, accessible, data-driven experiences across enterprise platforms and collaborates with UX, engineering, product, and architecture teams.

The ideal candidate combines deep front-end architecture with hands-on EDS experience, leveraging React (preferred) or Angular to deliver personalized experiences

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional front-end development experience
• 3+ years in an architect or technical lead role
• Strong experience with AEM front-end development and EDS
• Hands-on with EDS configuration, deployment, and integration
• Proficient in JS/TS, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Focus on performance, accessibility, and SEO optimization
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor developers

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and document front-end architecture for enterprise web apps using EDS and AEM
• Establish coding standards, performance optimization strategies, and scalability plans
• Lead EDS migration architecture and implementation best practices
• Develop reusable front-end components using React or Angular
• Integrate AEM with Adobe Cloud solutions (Target, Analytics, Journey Optimizer)
• Collaborate with backend teams to define API contracts
• Mentor developers and conduct code reviews
• Stay current with front-end framework updates and best practices
