Job summary

Olsson provides multidisciplinary engineering and design services for site development. A Senior Civil Engineer will lead complex projects, provide high-level technical design, and mentor staff across the team.

Requirements include a PE license, 8+ years of civil engineering experience, and proficiency in Civil 3D. Flexible, hybrid/remote work options are available with opportunities across Olsson offices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Must be a registered professional engineer.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control and regulatory approvals.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer on complex projects and provide high-level technical design.
• Execute QA/QC plans for the team.
• Mentor staff on technical design and training.
• Lead the effort for assembling technical resources for projects.
• Supervise/professional staff in design approaches to meet project requirements.
• Review contracts with administration support.
• Promote efficiencies to deliver quality work.
• Maintain quality control and thoroughly check plans.
