Job summary

Mango Languages is seeking enthusiastic language instructors for Mango Live, its online live instruction program. This remote telework contract role involves preparing personalized sessions and coaching clients using Mango methodologies.

You will evaluate progress, manage multiple students and schedules, and work roughly 10–30 hours per week, with about 8–12 hours of initial online training paid by Mango Languages.

Qualifications

• Native French speaker; fluent in English.
• Degree in language teaching, applied linguistics, or a teaching certification.
• Experience teaching French to English speakers is preferred.
• Passion for teaching language and culture.

Responsibilities

• Apply the communicative approach and Mango methodology in online language instruction.
• Prepare personalized sessions using proprietary Mango learning tools.
• Coach professional clients, sometimes including spouses and children.
• Evaluate students’ language proficiency and provide progress reports.
• Manage multiple students with varied levels and schedules.
• Track attendance records, schedules, and syllabi.
