Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions seeks a Fraud Data Analyst to support large banking, fintech, and e-commerce clients. You will analyze fraud patterns, develop detection strategies, and deliver actionable recommendations to reduce risk while minimizing friction for legitimate customers.

You will work with teams to optimize ThreatMetrix and other identity solutions, build dashboards, and present findings to both technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, analytical, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting customer-facing technology, analytics, or fraud prevention solutions.
• 3+ years in financial services, banking, fintech, payments, risk management, or e-commerce.
• 3+ years of advanced analytics using Python (pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib), R, or similar tools.
• Strong SQL and Excel for data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Experience investigating fraud, financial crimes, or suspicious activity.

Responsibilities

• Review suspicious activity, fraud alerts, and complex cases to identify risks.
• Analyze large datasets to build and optimize fraud detection rules and models.
• Perform root cause analyses and develop effective solutions.
• Deliver analyses and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advise on best practices for ThreatMetrix Digital Identity Network and related products.
• Collaborate with clients to improve fraud mitigation while balancing customer experience.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and deliverables using SQL, Python, and Excel.
• Research emerging fraud techniques and cyber trends for proactive recommendations.
• Support product feedback and client insights with internal teams.
