Job summary

Grand Canyon University, College of Natural Sciences, is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Comparative Methods remotely, focusing on forensic comparative methods used in evidence analysis (firearms, toolmark, fingerprint, shoe/tire). This is a part-time, remote teaching assignment.

Responsibilities include facilitating lectures, engaging students, assessing performance, and mentoring student success in alignment with the University's ethical and mission statements.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry or Forensic Science.
• Preferred: MS/Doctorate in Chemistry or Forensic Science.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor student success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
