Job summary

Pixalate seeks an experienced Contracts Counsel to join its growing legal team. You will draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of technology, data licensing, SaaS, and vendor agreements, partnering with Sales, Finance, Product, and leadership to enable business transactions while managing risk.

Qualifications

• JD required with bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• 4–7 years of commercial/tech transactions experience (in-house or law firm).
• Experience drafting and negotiating SaaS, data licensing, API, and platform agreements.
• Solid knowledge of GDPR/CCPA/CPRA privacy requirements and data protection.
• Experience in adtech or digital media space preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, data licensing, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor contracts.
• Serve as primary legal contact for Sales and BD on contract matters.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and fallback positions to speed contracting.
• Advise on risk allocation, IP ownership, and data privacy obligations.
• Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle and renewals.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters.
• Support revenue recognition alignment and governance activities.
• Stay current on adtech, data privacy, and AI regulation.
