Job summary

Quora is seeking a Software Engineer (New Grad) to join the ML Platform team, working on the Quora product. You will contribute to the ML platform that serves hundreds of millions of users, shaping performance and scalability from day one.

This remote-first role welcomes graduates in 2025 or 2026 and offers mentorship, a chance to ship to production quickly, and exposure to GPUs, Kubernetes, and modern ML tooling.

Qualifications

• Available for coordination hours Mon-Fri 9am-3pm PT
• Graduate in 2025 or 2026 in CS/Engineering or related field
• Interest in distributed systems, infrastructure, and ML
• Willing to learn Python/Go/C++ quickly
• Passion for learning and improving the team

Responsibilities

• Help build core ML platform infrastructure for availability and performance
• Develop distributed systems for ML models in production
• Work on GPU model serving to optimize latency and cost
• Contribute to PyTorch-first standardization and ML ecosystem
• Improve ML developer velocity with better tooling
• Modernize feature store to push features to production
• Participate in on-call rotation and resolve production issues
