Job summary

comdivision is seeking a Senior Architect focused on VMware Cloud Foundation to design and deliver secure, scalable VCF-based cloud infrastructures. You will lead NSX integration, automation initiatives, and cross‑functional collaboration with delivery and sales teams.

Based remote‑first, candidates must be located in the USA or Germany and be available for occasional onsite engagements. Strong English communication, leadership capabilities, and travel willingness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) architecture and deployment experience.
• Proven NSX experience (NSX-T preferred).
• Experience in VCF automation and operations (SDDC Manager, API integrations).
• Solid virtualization, networking, and storage knowledge.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and travel for onsite visits.
• US or DE work eligibility and residency (USA Texas or EU Germany).

• Architect and implement VCF-based infrastructure solutions tailored to customer requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) architecture and deployment.
• Strong hands-on expertise with NSX (NSX-T preferred).
• Experience in VCF automation and operations (e.g., SDDC Manager, API integrations, lifecycle management).
• Solid understanding of virtualisation, networking, and storage concepts.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel for customer onsite visits as needed.
• US application: Valid work permit for USA and must be physically located in USA, ideally in the Texas area.
• DE application: Valid work permit for Germany and must be physically located in EU.
  
  

Preferred Qualification

• VMware certifications (e.g., VCAP, VCDX, or equivalent).
• Experience with scripting (PowerCLI, Python) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud strategies and workload migration.
  
  

Compensation

• Fixed annual salary US: $120,000 - $220,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Fixed annual salary DE: €85,000 – €115,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Performance bonus: Based on project delivery, customer satisfaction, and team contribution
