Job summary

Apheris is seeking a principal scientist to lead expansion into small molecule predictive toxicology and quantitative biology. You will set scientific vision, lead customer conversations, and embed real workflows into our platform, driving models into drug programmes.

You will operate with autonomy, owning this agenda end-to-end, and serving as a scientific counterpart to customers and partners in regulated pharma environments.

Qualifications

• Strong deep learning foundations for molecular AI.
• Understanding toxicity endpoints in drug discovery.

Responsibilities

• Own expansion into predictive toxicology and quantitative biology.
• Define how in silico toxicology and quantitative biology workflows come together.
• Decide how to use data from pharma R&D to extract scientific and commercial value.
• Span multiple readouts and endpoints from off-target liability to PK/PD.
• Build and deploy federated models with partners in drug discovery.
• Lead scientific conversations with customers and partners, shaping the roadmap.
