ZBeta, Inc. is seeking a System Design Engineer to deliver customized security design solutions for diverse clients. You will support project managers and system designers, develop engineering drawings, and advance security technology tools and processes.

This role emphasizes collaboration, technical depth, and client-focused delivery. The candidate should bring 5+ years in security system design, 2+ years with Revit/AutoCAD, and proficiency with Lenel, Genetec, and related tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security system design experience.
• 2+ years Revit &/or AutoCAD experience required.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in design.
• Proficiency with Lenel and related security systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, review, and proof design and engineering drawings (plans, details, diagrams, schedules).
• Coordinate architectural design efforts for door hardware and infrastructure.
• Conduct technical studies including cable sizing and power requirements.
• Research products and stay current on security technologies and best practices.
• Provide troubleshooting and issue resolution related to codes and standards.
• Support QA, testing, and commissioning activities; ensure design delivery fits budget and timelines.
• Lead project discussions with designers and project managers from design to closeout.
