Axe Recruiting is partnering with a high-growth healthcare platform seeking a hands-on Financial Controller (Full-Charge) to own the full accounting cycle, deliver consolidated reporting, and lead finance integrations as the company scales. The role is remote‑first within the U.S.

and reports to executive leadership. We’re looking for 8–12+ years of controllership experience in multi-site healthcare, with a strong close process, internal controls, and M&A integration expertise.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of accounting/controllership experience in multi-site healthcare.
• Experience leading month‑end close and audit‑readiness.
• Hands‑on M&A integration in roll‑ups or high‑acquisition settings.
• Systems‑savvy; integrate data between EMR/RCM and GL.

Responsibilities

• Lead GL, AP, AR, Payroll and monthly close across multi-site operations.
• Produce consolidated financials, entity roll-ups and board‑ready reporting.
• Build internal controls and a compliance calendar; maintain audit‑readiness.
• Drive M&A finance integration and push standardization across systems.
