Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Financial Claims Associate for a Hybrid-Flex role tied to the Durham headquarters. You will assist in invoicing, reporting, analysis of financial claims expense, and forecasting for stop loss coverage.

The role supports preparation of statements, run-out, audits, and data compilation for internal/external stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree required; 0–2 years’ experience preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree where required.
• 0-2 years of related field experience; in lieu of degree, 3+ years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, analysis, invoicing, reporting of financial claims expense.
• Support preparation of invoicing and forecasts for loss coverage.
• Review employer group expenditures for conformance to agreements.
• Prepare reports for audiences such as Self-Funded Groups, Stop Loss Vendors, Sales.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and data compilation for audits.
