Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Sr. Software Engineering Manager, Financial Reporting to lead the Financial Reporting Experience, Forecasting and Planning, and Record to Report teams.

You will guide onshore and offshore resources, drive architecture and delivery of SAP and planning tools, and shape solutions spanning SAP S/4, ECC, BW/4HANA, OneStream, and BigQuery. You will collaborate with Finance, FP&A, and IT partners to translate business goals into scalable, SOX-compliant systems, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems strongly preferred; MS preferred.
• 12+ years IT experience with SAP S/4/HANA, ECC, BW4HANA.
• 6+ years IT analyst/consulting; 5–7 years managing distributed teams.
• Strong SAP FI/CO, Asset Accounting, Project Systems knowledge.
• Experience with OneStream, Longview or SAP BPC; Google Cloud/BigQuery is a plus.
• Understanding of SOX controls and financial process Flows.
• Proven ability to lead complex financial implementations and design sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor three teams of managers, technical leads, onshore and offshore associates.
• Own architecture, design, development, and support of all team solutions in finance domain.
• Deliver forecasting and planning using OneStream, Clarity PPM, SAP BPC and Longview.
• Deliver financial reporting and analytics using SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, Tableau and BigQuery.
• Deliver general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany, close, and consolidation solutions.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A and technical teams to translate goals into feasible solutions.
