Job summary

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. The Finance Expert role is a remote contract position requiring strong financial analysis skills and advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

You will evaluate AI-generated artifacts for usability in finance, identify issues in slides, spreadsheets, and documents, and provide clear feedback to improve model outputs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance at top firms in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated artifacts for usability in the finance context.
• Identify factual, aesthetic, and presentation errors in slides, spreadsheets, and documents.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback to improve AI model outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI-generated work products.
