Job summary

Seagate Technology is offering a Finance and Analytics Intern role remote in the United States. You will identify gaps in Edge Finance processes, design future-state workflows, and explore automation and AI solutions using Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate.

You will collaborate with Edge Finance, FP&A, and technology teams, build business cases, and help develop a prioritized transformation roadmap. Returning to school in Fall 2027 is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/Analytics and returning to school in Fall 2027.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-mapping skills.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI/Power Automate experience a plus.
• Translate business pain points into practical, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Finance Process Assessment and Gap Identification.
• Document current-state processes with data inputs, systems, controls, and handoffs.
• Identify bottlenecks, duplicative work, manual effort, and data-quality issues.
• Develop future-state workflows and prioritized roadmaps.
• Automation and AI enablement using Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate.
