Job summary

AgRevolution / AGCO is seeking a Field Service Technician in Columbia, KY to perform repairs on equipment at customer sites and install new components with minimal supervision. You may be dispatched from home or a company shop and will operate a company service truck.

This permanent, remote-friendly role supports our customers with high-quality service. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair agriculture and heavy equipment, use test equipment, and maintain accurate service reports and time

Qualifications

• Experience performing troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs to agriculture, construction, off-road or heavy equipment.
• Experience using test equipment and tools to analyze, evaluate, locate and repair problems.
• Experience with computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform repairs to machinery and equipment at customer's jobsite or at Company Shop, using appropriate tooling and test equipment to capably complete the work in timely and efficient manner with a high level of quality.
• Maintains a valid Driver's License in compliance with Company and DOT regulations, maintain legally required paperwork including DOT logs. Uses test equipment to analyze, evaluate and locate problems. Confer with customer and/or supervisor or make independent on the job decisions when necessary.
• Writes service reports at jobsite; keeps accurate time on job and turns in cards in a timely manner.
• Ensures accuracy of work orders by charging parts and labor to proper work order segment
• Owns, updates and maintains sufficient hand tools to perform the job.
• Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
