Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Engineer for the New England region who will operate remotely with up to 60% travel.

The role focuses on DEWALT fastening products, working with engineers, architects, and designers to specify fasteners and provide technical education. The candidate will conduct regular technical presentations, build client relationships, and support sales teams through on-site visits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in design engineering, technical support, or technical sales role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • E.I.T/FE certification; PE license preferred.
  • Construction industry/jobsite experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong technical understanding of fastening products under the DEWALT brand and building code requirements.
  • Establish relationships with key specifying engineering firms in the territory.
  • Influence designers, architects, and engineers to specify fasteners through visits and technical communications.
  • Present and train design professionals on DEWALT products, focusing on details, performance, and code requirements.
  • Provide on-site technical support and assist sales with specification and conversion.
